Lets cook gulai ikan my mom's way...
This is the fish..bawal sekoq..cut to small pieces..usually my mom used tenggiri..coz my kampung near the sea so tenggiri is our main dish..i bought this bawal for rm8.45 at JJ..thinking to get tenggiri but rm3.68/g..haiyaaaa..
ladies fingers..herbs & spices..garlic..curry leaves..onions (forgot to snap the onions, i guess everybody knows how it looks like ya) n oso include tamarind juice..
coconut milk (instant is faster hehe)..curry powder cap babas..
tumis onions, spices, garlic, curry leaves...
after some aroma...put in curry powder mix with water..stir stir stir for a while..until the curry aroma smell all over the floor hehe..then add coconut oil..n tamarind juice...followed by ladies finger n the bawal..
tadaaaaa...lets eat...yummmy...
